Eddie? Are you in? Should we just not count on you for this project? We need to start getting serious and need to know if you are going to meet with us or are you dropping this class? Either way we need to hand in a complete presentation so if you can let us know ASAP it would be appreciared.

Is there spell check on this? And how can I stop the text from being replaced when editting myself?

Anonymous said

Hi guys-
I have not forgotten you. I'm just doing my other class that ends this Sat.

Anonymous said

I don't see a spell check in here. My suggestion is to copy and paste what you write into Word, run the spell checker and then copy and paste it back into the wiki page.

Do you want to put the information thats on the sidebar on the powerpoint as different pages i need to know so i can start putting that together. I was thinking for the cover page divide it into to two and put the mattle toys looking brand new and then on the other side get a picture that shows the defect and i have to think of a title what do you guys think about that idea if you dont like it just give me some suggestions of what you think might work better.

Anonymous said

at 2:21 pm on Dec 5, 2007

I don't think you'll be able to show a defect because there wasn't necessarily a defect it was lead paint. I think that would be a good idea to start making the slides however we all need to start making some bullets because there is really nothing in there.

I think we are just looking to put it as the scenery)background)? I'm not sure. I don't know how we will attach it either. I think we can cut and paste some of the stuff from what we have typed up already. I know we still have quite a bit of work ahead. I have to work every day till Friday. I have Fri, Sat, Sun off next week (before its due). I have a family Xmas party Sat at 2 but can meet Fri evening, Sat am and/or evening, and Sun any time. I will try to put some more stuff together before then but not sure how much time I can commit. Can everyone meet next weekend for a couple hours to finish this?

Anonymous said

Do we know if Eddie has completed anything. I should be able to meet on Fri evening or early Sun. I will know better on Tues.

Anonymous said

Eddie please click on Recent Activity and look at Mattel Bullets I think that some of these will help. I think we have enough articles and now people need to start extracting information and making bullets. We are down to the wire and there I don't see too much that is beneficial to the project.

Hi-
I have to work until 2pm on Sat. I can meet up on Sunday, but anyone know what time? Also, there is supposed to be big snow storm Sat night into Sunday?

Anonymous said

at 10:08 pm on Dec 13, 2007

I add a Powerpoint to the files section. There is one slide that says Future of Mattel that needs to some information. I basically went by the presentations that were on Monday and what Jackie posted. Statistics and video clips do not need to be included.

Anonymous said

at 7:00 pm on Dec 14, 2007

Did you add to it or relocate it?

Anonymous said

at 7:39 pm on Dec 14, 2007

Sorry. Tashunda, I'm not sure if you added to the one that is there or if you made another page or another power point? I think we can use a lot of what we have as talking points to go along with each slide that will have a couple bullets?

Anonymous said

at 8:33 pm on Dec 14, 2007

I added some more things to the power point but not sure how to edit it in this crazy wiki so I saved it on my computer and reattached it, didn't mean to get rid of the first one if anyone added to it, or it may still be here, I don't understand this site completely yet.
That's it for me tonight, see you at the library at 11, don't hate me if I'm a few minutes late.

Hi- I'm going to be there at 11am-1. I have to get out of work from the mall at 11, so I will be a little late probably due to nasty mall traffic. I will be there though to finalize our presentation.
